The Pool and Sun Terrace is a great area to relax and unwind, it is 20 paces from the front door of the Gite and it is available to everyone.

 

It is bathed in sunshine from the second the sun rises through to the early evening; it is the most perfect place for breakfast or that first cup of tea of the day. If lounging in the sun is your thing then you can do that all day.

 

There are tables and chairs and 2 sun loungers for your use. There is also a gas fired BBQ should you wish to use it.

 

The area at the side of the big barn does get some shade in the afternoon so you can escape the hottest part of the day while remaining outside enjoying the peace and quiet.

 

The pool is 7 meters long, 4 meters wide, and the water is 1.23 meters deep. The steps up to the pool can be easily removed thereby making the pool safe when children are around.  That having been said, children should still be supervised at all times.

 

Use of the swimming pool is very much dictated by the weather and it spends the winter months covered by a tarpaulin in order to protect it from the ice.  Ordinarily it is uncovered, pleasantly warm, and ready for use from early May through to the end of September.

 

Our fishery is not just for big carp hunters. Together, the Gite, the Gym, the Sun-Terrace and Pool, also help to make a great holiday for families who wish to combine a relaxing holiday with some fantastic carp fishing.
